In 6 days. I will be married. It's So close!

December 31, 2012. The day I met Brett we met at JCW's so he could give me a gift from his companion AKA my friend from college. We both thought the other attractive, but 45 minutes is way too long of a drive to even think of having a relationship. Lunch was fun though. And we really got along.

January 26, 2013. Our first date was a blast. We went bowling, had Costa Vida, then watched a movie. Those were all fun, but the best part was my date. B and I got along so well. The conversation never stopped or got awkward.

January 29, 2013. He kissed me. I was Not prepared.. at all. Haha! But that's a story for another day. We also decided to date each other. Like.. the official kind. Neither of us saw That one coming, but apparently everyone else did.

February 3, 2013. The moment I Knew.

February 24, 2013. (from a journal entry) "We then started talking about marriage. It was funny after a little bit of silence, he said, “You know what.. I’m just going to say what I think we’re both thinking..” I said okay. He said, “I think if things continue, we both want to marry each other.” And there it was. And it’s true, still is."

March 3, 2013. "I Love You"'s were exchanged. XO

May 11, 2013. He asked if I'd be his forever. I said yes. I was completely shocked. He did a good job at surprising me. It was a dream, and I can't wait for the rest of my life with that amazing man of mine.

July 26, 2013. I had the opportunity to receive my endowments. It was an incredible experience.

Been a while

Someone told me I haven't blogged in a while.. So here I am blogging. I'll just give you a little update..

I do my laundry regularly and Love Love Love Brett Howard Pond. 

My best friend is going on a mission. Still not sure if I'm okay with that. She's amazing though.

We went on a trip this past weekend to California to go to my cousins wedding.

25 days till this.

52 days till I marry him.

How we met.

I laugh to myself every time I'm asked the question, "So.. how did you and your boy meet??"

Side story.. Caleb Baker is one of my friends from college. We were good friends during our freshman year, he is serving his mission in Australia. I'd rather explain who he is now, than later in the story.

Towards the end of December I happen to be looking on facebook when I noticed I had an unread message. The message was from this kid, Brett Pond, who had just returned from a mission in Australia and had been companions with Caleb. Caleb had given Brett a Christmas present to give to me.

New Years Eve we met at the JCW's off the freeway, talked in the parking lot, he gave me the present and then we ended up having lunch. Let me just say that.. at this point all I thought was, "He's cute, could be a great friend.." That's all.

We texted every day after that. Then we saw each other a few times, and finally Brett asked me on an actual date! We had quite an enjoyable time, and really got to know each other.

We started dating soon after that, figured we'd just see how things went.. obviously.. it's turned out pretty great..

(It's a lot like the movie The Best Two Years..)

Seniors.

Sierra has a friend who needed some pictures taken and offered up me as sacrifice. Psych. Just to take said pictures. It was SO fun. If you'd like to go on a photo adventure, I always need someone who will sit in front of the camera for me. So.. call me maybe.

1. We went on a Cruise to Catalina Island, and Ensenada. I still miss the salmon and chocolate milk. Mm.. It was Awesome. The weather wasn't super great but it was still Quite a trip.

2. Dallin got engaged. He finally asked her. And she said yes! 

3. Yep. I sstttiilllllll like him.

21-Legal drinking age.

It started Monday. Brett took me out for the day, and it was wonderful. 

And of course.. we didn't take any pictures...

Wednesday dad took me to lunch, and mom took me shopping. 

Later these two came and surprised me from Logan! 

Best Birthday Ever.

Cruise.

Tomorrow we leave for a cruise.. I'm real excited. 

Look forward to hundreds of pictures. 

Haha. Just kidding.. I won't put ALL of those up here.

His house.

I went to the temple yesterday.

It was peaceful, just what I needed. 

I sat and prayed, wrote, read, and pondered. 

While first walking down the stairs, 

I already had one answer. 

I wrote in my journal, about everything. 

After a while of repeating this, I left. 

With a full heart, and no uncertainty in sight.

I believe.

Valentines Day.

I was pretty bummed when I found out I had to work on the day of love. Tuesday the boy and I went out on a really nice date, afterwards, on our way to my house Valentines day came up in the conversation. We had the whole "dang you have work", "dang I have work". He was thoughtful and had gotten me some real good smelling lotion, and a card.

Today I slept most the day, got up and went to work. Him and I texted a bit. While at work helping someone, Kylee says over the walkie, "Hey Jerrica... someone's here for you! At the front desk." I told her I'd be down in 10 mins or so. I finish up and am walking across the front to throw some trash away. When I look over to the front desk.. I see my man, with roses :)

Some people hate Valentines day, some love it. All I have to say is this, whether you have a significant other or not.. enjoy this day, show someone you care about them, smile a little more. 

I, for one, still can't stop smiling. It was quite perfect. Enjoy!

7pm-7am

Welcome to night shift!!! 

Pull up a computer chair, kick off your shoes, watch five movies in a row. 

Laugh, joke and talk. Stare at the computer screen without talking.

Eat junk food, make grilled ham and cheese, and BLT's. 

Make sure you do rounds, changes, and fold all that laundry.

Draw graffiti, look on Pinterest, and text friends/boys till they fall asleep.

When you get tired. Drink some of a NASTY rockstar that Audra brought, and almost throw up.

Once you're off, make sure you scrape your windows enough to see. 

Blast that country music, and make the drive home.

Get home, change into jammies, and go to sleep!

....Could quite possibly be my new favorite.

I've been gone lately, soorry about that..

I'll probably be gone some more now..

Sometimes when I'm at work I think to myself,

This is Sierra

 We've been best friends for quite a while now. 

 I can always count on her. Always, always, always.

 She brings out the best in me. As you can see in the picture above.

 Sometimes when I'm bored she'll come down from her level of Awesomeness to mine and chill.

 We both think the same things are funny, but sometimes it's just stupid stuff.

One time we went to Paris, okay.. not really.. 

 She's absolutely incredible if you can't tell already.

I love this bun wearing, Van loving, Arizona drinking, girl a whole heck of a lot.

I match my own clothes.
