From brick to Beauty.

It was Beautiful.

We got up early. Dressed in church clothes, and drove an hour and a half to Sandy. As we entered the building you could feel a peace that was there. After setting down our things we stood in line. Ten minutes later I hugged her mom, she said, "Thank you for coming." I hugged Lauren next. Tight, and as long as I could. Tears began to show. Next was Maegan. I gave her a big hug. She whispered in my ear and said, "Thanks for coming all this way, it means so much to Lauren." That's when the first tears started coming.

In the chapel we sat down. Only to stand as the family and pallbearers walked in. The music played softly. We all sat as the last person did. The songs  played and words spoken were comforting, soothing.  Each with their own personal message, their own sacred prayer.

We left to find something to do until we could go back and see Lauren. We walked around the mall, ate lunch. The whole time wishing I could give her another hug. Thinking of her family, praying for them with all my might.

About an hour later we drove up to her house. Bringing with us a bag of her things, a blanket and some treats. She loved them, but was just glad to see us. We ate more food that was left over. Then we just talked like good friends. Because that's what we are, good friends.

Leaving was hard. Hugs, and "I love you"'s. Promises of seeing you soon. Thinking while we drove home, it was beautiful. The entire day was peaceful, humbling, comforting. Absolutely beautiful.

Since I'm Up.

You might want to know that this morning my alarm woke me up with "The Lazy Song". My motivation levels dropped about %98.

My brother made dinner tonight, so I did the dishes. Tomorrow night I will be making dinner (Lasagna, garlic bread, and maybe veggies), and he will be doing the dishes.
I miss buttercup so much. I'm very glad she's home with her family, but dang, she sure brightens up my day. Thank Heaven for modern technology.
Thanksgiving break will be incredible. I am more than excited to dress up, eat food, black Friday shop, see Aud again, and maybe get my hair done.
I got in all the classes and wait-lists I needed to get into. Except Math and English. I'm working on it.
Oh, and I am officially the Queen of awkward. Ka-Chang!

Time to do something productive. Gnight.

The brinks of insanity.

The following are a compilation of what I have said in the past three hours. Enjoy.

• "Every fiber of my being is rebelling against this annotated bibliography."
• "I'm using Wiki as a source for my paper. Sue me."
• "Please excuse my awkwardness. I think I'm getting bed sores from laying on my bed for two hours without moving."
• "If I could I would express my love to you all by flying you to a rice field in Asia where we could have a rose petal fight. Doesn't that sound lovely. But alas, I can't afford it."
• "I have the attention span of a six-year-old."

Yep.

-This cupcake is from Temptation Cupcakes. Jen and I went recently. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Let's be honest, secretly cupcakes are still the greatest thing since microwave popcorn.

-Choco milk is definitely my new favorite food. TruMoo to be more specific. 

-Lately all I have been doing is sneezing, coughing, sniffing, and sleeping. (I was in bed until 1 today)

-Aud and I miss each other, we talk almost every day now. I am So okay with it. 

-I almost cried when I realized fall is over, and winter is very much here.

-I will move on, and it will be great. Those memories are in the past for a reason. 

-Life has a way of changing before we can even realize it.

 Hello life,
   I almost forgot about the days that I don't like you. I'm glad I got you compared to some others that I've seen, or heard of. You keep me busy, and when I don't want to be busy and procrastinate, you come back to bite me in the rear. Thanks. I'll try and keep in line from now on. I'm glad you throw me curve balls, they're surprising and almost always a trial. I learn and grow from those lovelies. You keep my dreams in view, but far enough away to work for them. To be honest, I mostly dislike that with a Passion. I guess that's how it's supposed to be right?
   Send me some more challenges, trials, hardships. Send me some more friends, heros, and soft shoulders. Send me some talents, abilities, and inspiration.

I'm so tired, getting ready for bed is too much. It's just so hard.
I have homework, enough that when my professors shove it down my pharynx it comes gushing out my ears and nasal cavities.
I feel sleep deprived, so much that if you were to put me in a room I could entertain myself for hours.
But hey... I have super room mates, family, and friends. NBD.

My life is incredible.
